What we do at the office.
With offices located in Clifton, Elizabeth, Pompton Lakes and Westfield, the Practice offers exceptional and personalized care for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the vision,the retina and the eye.
At the time of the visit your eye might need to be dilated with drops to allow the detailed retina examination. The dilation will make you see blurry especially at near and will make you very sensitive to the light for few hours. After the examination you will very photosensitive and the vision might be decrease (especially the near vision). It is advisable that someone else should drive you.
Some of the retinal conditions diagnosed and treated in our office are:
Refractive error: need for glasses or conctact lens.
Diabetic Retinopathy: diabetes affecting the eye.
Age-Related Macular Degeneration, can be dry or "wet".
Glaucoma monitoring and treatment.
Retinal Vein or arterial Occlusions
Macular Holes and Wrinkle in the Retina (Macular Pucker or Epiretinal Membrane)
Floater and flashes in the eye
State of the art equipment allows a prompt diagnosis in a private and respectful office setting. The diagnosis and most treatments can be carried out in the office as well.
